It has a pleasant outlook, with safe attractive well-maintained gardens to the front of the property, where car parking facilities are available. There are 18 single rooms, three of which have en-suite facilities and 1 double room. There are two lounge areas, dining room, opening into a dining area and a conservatory, where smoking is permitted. Two bathrooms and one shower room are provided and toilets are in close proximity to all individual service users rooms and communal areas. The range of fees are in line with Nottingham City Council rates and are agreed according to level of nursing and care support required.

A care home is a residential setting where a number of older people live, usually in single rooms or hotel-style suites, because they need regular or continuous access to care. Most retirement developments offer either properties for sale or for rent, but newer ones may offer both tenure options, and possibly shared ownership too. The LTHHC is only one of the many possibilities for seniors looking for resources and services to help with long-term care outside of a nursing home facility. While the LTHHC program is a Medicaid waiver, it might not be the best option, as New York operates many state-level programs for assisted living and in-home care that are not part of the waiver program. The Long Term Home Health Care Program is available to individuals who are medically eligible for placement in a nursing home and choose to receive services at home. These individuals must have care costs less than the county’s nursing home cost.
